This is a 1955 model of the Valencia-made Levi's 501XX. The 555 stamp on the back of the top button indicates that it was manufactured at the Valencia factory in the United States between 1996 and 2003. The Valencia factory closed in 2003, making these highly sought after and very popular. This 501XX 1955 model is said to be the completed form of the 501XX. Also, this item is a pair of jeans made in 1996, which is highly regarded for its fabric.
